All About Me
Emily Hyatt is a passionate biology, conservationist, and ecologist with an broad interest in all aspects of zoology and environmental science.
​
She is an avid science communicator who feels that "SciComm" is essential to the improvement of society as a whole and loves to to engage with the public through in-person animal ambassador presentations and virtual interactive sessions to offer information and demonstrations that inspire ecological awareness and inspire an environmentally conscious mindset.
​
With a Bachelor's and a "just about finished" PhD in Biology, she's worked in medical laboratories, taught college courses, and helped to conserve threatened species in Riverside County, CA, as well as with nesting sea turtles in Honduras, and a variety of endemic Australian herpetofauna at the National Aquarium in Baltimore, MD.

But most of all, Emily loves animals and wants you to love them, too!
